One of the only 3-in-1 devices on the market, the V2 Pro Series 7 is easily the best of them and a marked improvement on the Pro Series 3. The V2 Pro Series 7 abandons the e-cig tube shape to become a fatter, more powerful and adaptable vaporizer that will handle oil and wax as well as herb and e-juice.
The vaporizer unit (black, blue or steel) comes with liquid and looseleaf cartridges, USB charger and Pro wall adapter. The oil cartridge needs to be bought separately. It now features variable temperature settings and voltage (3.7, 4.2 and 4.7V), larger cartridges and a more powerful, longer lasting battery and larger oven size for dry leaf.
The cartridges snap into place magnetically, and are ‘smart’ in that the device knows whether you’re vaping liquid, oil or herb and adjusts voltages and temps accordingly.
One of the only 3-in-1 devices on the market, the V2 Pro Series 7 is easily the best of them and a marked improvement on the Pro Series 3. Last year we positively reviewed the Pro Series 3, a more e-cig format, dual leaf and juice vape. By necessity rather narrow and deep, the leaf cartridge was adequate but not great.

V2 Pro Series 7: WHAT YOU GET ?
Out of the box comes the vaporizer unit (available in black, blue or steel), a liquid cartridge, loose leaf cartridge, USB charger and Pro wall adapter. The oil cartridge needs to be bought separately; we didn’t get one sent so this aspect is not covered.
The essential changes from the Series 3 include variable temperature settings and voltage (3.7, 4.2 and 4.7V), larger cartridges and a more powerful and longer lasting battery. Auto-cut off times are 10 secs (e-liquid) or 150 secs (loose leaf).
Of most interest to us is the larger oven size for dry leaf. Like the Series 3, the cartridges snap into place magnetically, and are ‘smart’ in that the device knows whether you’re vaping liquid, oil or herb and adjusts voltages and temps accordingly.
The unit’s length (with cartridge) is 130 mm – a tad over 5 inches, and it weighs just under 120 grams (with empty e-liquid cartridge), or 4.18oz. Its maximum width is 34.5mm (1.36 inches). It has an e-liquid cartridge capacity of 2.5ml and a loose leaf chamber capacity of 1300mm³.
I vaped the V2 Pro Series 7 using its e-liquid cartridge for a couple of days on and off and was pretty impressed with the vape; a marked improvement over the Series 3 when it comes to e-liquid.
There are 3 settings for vaping loose leaf: low (200 C/390 F), medium (210 C/415 F) and high (225 C/440 F). Once the temp is set, hold the button for 3 seconds to initiate heat up. The red glowing base turns yellow then green.
The draw on the V2 Pro Series 7 is a little looser than the Series 3s draw, but still tight enough for a nice mouth-to-lung inhale. You can’t gulp down big lung inhalations, but that’s not really what you should be expecting. The flavor too was much better on the Series 7 than the Series 3.
The e-juice vapor is much improved on the Series 7 too when compared to the Series 3, producing decent amounts for a nice throat hit. Maybe not as thick as you would get from a sub ohm vaping clearomizer, but it makes for a good vape.
The V2 Pro Series 7 features a 2.5 ml e-liquid tank – quite a step up from the 1.6 ml of the series 3 and will last you a decent time before you will need to refill – V2 estimate 1200 hits per tank and 20 refills before a reduction in vapor quality.
The 1800mAh battery gives almost three times the power of the series 3. Actual battery life will depend on how much you vape, but you should be able to get a couple days of vaping if you are just using the e-liquid cart. Less if you’re vaping herbs and eLiquids. Voltage and temperature settings as well as how much you vape also play a factor.
The variable voltage is another marked improvement over the series 3. To change the voltage, you hit the power button twice and the lights will change. Wait until the lights are at your desired voltage level and then hit the button again to stay at that voltage.
The first voltage level is 3.7V then 4.2V and finally 4.7V. This gives you some control over how you vape your e-liquid (higher voltage creates more vapor and a warmer vape).
The V2 Pro Series 7 vapes really well for e-liquids. The cartridges are quite pricey, but will probably last you quite a long time.
Conclusion: V2 Pro Series 7
For its price, I wouldn’t buy the V2 Pro Series 7 just for e-liquid vaping, but its “3-in-1″ capability makes it an excellent all-in-one device. If you vape dry herbs, oils and e-liquids and want to do them all with one device, I can highly recommend the V2 Pro Series 7.
